Verkligen. Mycket bra inspiration för Åre. Tunga, varma rockar som ger respekt…

The Guardian

It is the most intricate yet accessible piece of work you’re ever likely to see – the result of an entire cast and crew working in perfect harmony and surely at the peak of their powers.

The Independent

“You feel the axe’s edge,” Princess Mary tells Lord Cromwell, in the meeting that will eventually undo him.

The Standard

Rylance is utterly magnetic throughout. The remarkable thing is that his brilliant performance is only one among many. It’s glorious stuff, not a romp but a tour de force. Rylance embodies this best, especially the force part.

The Arts Desk

Rylance’s face and its micro-reactions are, rightly, the main attraction here. He becomes so still and focused, you can almost hear his brain whirring.

Liverpool Sound and Vision

Wolf Hall: The Mirror and The Light sees a dramatic, almost Shakespearean epic bring to conclusion a tale that has had repercussions down through history.

Damian Lewis

This drama, unlike the life of the man it chronicled, has been a complete triumph.

New Statesman

The performances, too, are uniformly wonderful, great actors in bonnets and French hoods wheeled on quite happily for a single episode.

It is ravishing to look at but without the gloss that often distances period dramas from contemporary audiences.
