But Why Tho?

The Rats: A Witcher’s Tale may take a little to gain steam, but its importance can’t be understated for those who have stuck with the Witcherverse on Netflix.

Collider

"Without spoiling either, Bonhart is certainly a highlight of both The Rats: A Witcher Tale and The Witcher Season 4. Lundgren's aged Witcher, Brehen, is an interesting addition to the world as well, though I find it a little odd to have the Rats befriend a Witcher not long before they welcome Ciri into their group."

Forbes

For all its fumbles (and there are plenty) I did enjoy this season of the fantasy adaptation. In fact, despite a downgrade in the casting for our protagonist, this was overall the best season since the first.

Rotten Tomatoes

Dolph Lundgren picks up the sword—and cynicism—of a Witcher and joins forces with a gang of thieves to pull off a daring heist.

Rotten Tomatoes

Loved seeing Dolph Lundgren as a boozy-to-badass Witcher Brehen—perfect casting, adds old-school muscle to the young thief crew led by haunted ex-royal Mistle. The heist setup in Witcher world is breezy fun, with monster fights and banter, but the story’s super familiar (every heist movie ever)... 6/10—pleasant, forgettable, but Lundgren makes it worth a watch.
