The movie is visual noise — it makes the Battle of Winterfell look like a model of clarity.

Easily the most satisfying of his Hollywood-produced adventures and a respectable cousin to the long string of Japanese ones...

The New York Times

This movie is often pretty slack in matters of story construction and direction. Spatial relations are superlax, with characters and heavily armed forces showing up here, there and everywhere from out of nowhere.

Empire

A catastrophically dumb, thunderously boring blockbuster as numbing and unsatisfying as the worst Transformers movies.
