Filmcraziest

It’s well-directed, well-acted and well-written but I didn’t like how I felt during this and I didn’t like the characters. It’s an anti-romance film that I appreciated more than enjoyed.

1 of My Stories

This is again one of these films I can't say I exactly enjoyed because it's so sad. But the film is amazing and tells its story well. Your emotions will be played like a trumpet.

Letterboxd

I don't know what else to say other than this movie broke me. At one point it made me believe there is love and on other it just said love is nothing more than a tablet with an expiry date coming soon. It shows a part of love that can be a fantasy and other reality.

Pop Culture Hangover

The one thing that stood out about this movie is it’s honesty. It addresses the problems that any real married couple struggling to meet ends would face throughout their relationship.

IMDb

Blue Valentine is not an easy film to watch and it drags at times. That said, it is very powerful and heart-breaking... The performances from Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams are simply wonderful...

Rotten Tomatoes

Blue Valentine is a beautifully acted, emotionally raw portrait of a marriage in collapse that’s as artful as it is emotionally draining.
